Just returned from Norway on a Northshots photo tour to photograph the Musk ox in winter. Guided by Roy Mangersnes and Mark Hamblin, we spent three days trekking after these nomadic creatures and everyone got great photos and magical memories. Taken in the Dovrefjell National Park. After a few hours of trekking up into the mountains we reached a herd of 9 Musk ox. I was so excited to see them for the first time that I didn't feel the cold anymore. These two broke away from the herd and had a play fight so managed to isolate them in the frame.
